CircuitMeter, which makes cloud-based electric metering solutions for commercial buildings, received up to $3 million in funding from MaRS Cleantech venture fund. The investment in Toronto-based CircuitMeter is the MaRS Cleantech Fund’s fourth deal since its inception in March 2011. The fund makes investments through its strategic partnership with Canada’s MaRS Discovery District, a public-private partnership focused on science and technology.
