MoneyTree: Cleantech’s Big Decline in Q3

With cleantech venture investing shifting to smaller, more capital- efficient deals, the sector saw a big drop in terms of dollars invested in Q3: only $791m flowed in during that period, versus $991m in Q2, according to the MoneyTree report. The number of cleantech deals, 58, was virtually unchanged.
